Self-Love Isn’t Selfish

We often hear the phrase self-love, but sometimes, it can feel like a guilty thing to prioritize ourselves. Maybe you’ve asked yourself, Isn’t this selfish? The truth is, it’s not.

Self-love is taking care of your heart, mind, and body so that you can show up better for others too. It’s setting healthy boundaries, saying no when you need rest, and choosing peace over people-pleasing.

When you treat yourself with the same kindness you give others, you build a stronger foundation within. You begin to believe that you are worthy, not because of what you do, but simply because you exist.

So, no self-love isn’t selfish. It’s necessary. It’s healing. It’s powerful.

Start with the little things:
Speak kindly to yourself.
Take breaks without guilt.
Celebrate your wins, even the tiny ones.

You deserve the love you give so freely to everyone else.
Let it start with you.
